Indianapolis, Indiana (PRWEB) - Indiana Fiber Network, LLC (IFN), the leading Indiana statewide Network Service Provider announces an agreement with S and R Communications (SnR) to provide fiber broadband connectivity and managed technology services. SnR launched a 4G LTE network in Wabash, Miami, Cass, Fulton, and Carroll counties in North Central Indiana with cell coverage of approximately 1,337 square miles.

According to Tim Miles, Swayzee Communication Corporation Chief Executive Officer, SnR is providing wireless broadband data service as part of Verizon's LTE Rural America (LRA) program. "Verizon established the LRA program to partner with rural carriers and incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs) interested in expanding into the wireless business. Our agreement with IFN enables us to run a highly reliable backbone network." Chad Morgan RTC Facilities Administrator, states, "SnR's 4G LTE network shares access to Verizon's 700 MHz Upper C Block spectrum. We constructed the towers and backhaul to build a 4G LTE network and market the LTE service under SnR’s brand.”

According to Mike Bonahoom, IFN National Carrier Wholesale manager, "IFN provides SnR a full range of network services that include protected fiber transport service, advanced network routing management, network monitoring, and NOC support services." SnR selected IFN as the primary fiber transport provider. "IFN provides a layer three managed network solution that is monitored and managed 24/7/365 days a year. By working with IFN, SnR is well positioned to scale their backbone transport bandwidth to meet their future expansion plans," said Jim Wininger IFN Service Assurance and IT Manager.

Joe McCarter President Rochester Telephone Company (RTC) states, "While SnR's 4G LTE network will provide Verizon Wireless customers with 4G network service, our primary goal is to provide 4G speeds and offer service to consumers and businesses that reside with SnR's LTE coverage footprint. Our partnership with IFN enabled us to successfully launch our 4G LTE wireless service and focus on our core business." S and R Communications is a partnership between RTC and Swayzee Communication Corporation. "Enabling RTC and Swayzee Communication Corporation as Member/Owners is why IFN was initially formed. IFN's mission is to provide innovative, tailored technology solutions to our members and customers/partners in the most effective, reliable and economically sound method possible," said Kelly Dyer, IFN President and CEO.
