DILAS Expands Output Power In Fiber-Coupled Pump Modules

DILAS, the diode laser company, has announced the extension of its output power in its single-emitter based, fiber-coupled diode laser pump modules.

Single-emitter based, fiber-coupled diode laser pump modules are now available in output powers of 50W and 90W at 976nm into a 106.5μm pigtailed fiber core with a numerical aperture of 0.22. With integrated wavelength stabilization (<1nm linewidth) these units provide output powers of 40W and 80W respectively.

The small footprint and low height design is offered in a simplified and robust package measuring 94.5 x 47 x 12 mm³. The device features a maximum operating current of 12A for 50W and 10A for 90W.

Developed for Ytterbium fiber laser pumping applications requiring high-speed modulation rates in the kHz regime and equipped with a protection filter against the back-propagating light at >1μm. The fiber-coupled module is also suitable for materials processing applications.
