NexHorizon Lites First Fiber In Colorado

Broomfield, CO - NexHorizon Communications, Inc. recently announced it has lit its first fiber in Colorado. This is the Company's first step in consolidating multiple rural towns in southeast Colorado. With the first two towns connected, the Company will begin its upgrade strategy to offer full triple play service. The Company's current video service will be expanded to provide High Speed Internet service. The High-Speed service is currently being tested and will begin being offered later this month.

"This is the first step to consolidating our distribution points and is the first step to create more cost efficient and manageable network infrastructure in the target area," said Calvin D. Smiley, Sr., CEO of NexHorizon Communications. "Lighting this building in Colorado not only upgrades the existing network features and data rates but also allows us to maximize efficiencies and reduce operational and maintenance costs. This model in Colorado is consistent with our business plan, which not only allows us to provide advanced broadband services in rural communities but ensure that each network is scalable and more reliable, by managing the network from a single point as opposed to multiple end points."

The Company anticipates consolidating up to six rural towns in southeast Colorado in 2008. As the consolidation process continues each town will be expanded to full triple play service. The Company is also testing its digital telephone service and is anticipating beginning digital phone service in January 2008.
