Yipes to Expand Gigabit Optical Infrastructure
Source: Level 3 Communications
Level 3 Communicationsical IP networking provider Yipes Communications Inc. (San Francisco) and <%=company%> (Broomfield, CO) are uniting to extend Yipes' gigabit optical infrastructure in major U.S. cities. This initial dark fiber lease agreement with Level 3, an Internet and communications infrastructure company, will enable Yipes to deploy ultra-high-speed Internet and transparent LAN services to customers in the technology-rich areas of Denver, San Diego, and San Francisco's South of Market district.
Customers may select LAN-to-LAN service between business locations or high-speed Internet services, both scalable from 1 Mbps to 1 Gbps, in 1 Mbps increments. With true bandwidth on demand, customers pay only for what they need. The service coverage afforded Yipes through its agreement with Level 3 will complement similar fiber-optic infrastructure arrangements Yipes has established in the downtown and suburban areas of major cities such as Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.
