Based upon a patented all-fiber design that results in minimal wavelength and temperature sensitivity, these WDM couplers exhibit very low insertion loss and polarization-dependent loss. In addition, they are sturdy enough to operate under difficult environmental conditions, such as vibration, mechanical shock or humidity, over a long period of time. These features, combined with their flatband operation, make them an excellent choice for use in wideband WDM applications. These WDM couplers are available in a variety of wavelength spacings (from 20-80 nm) and center wavelength configurations.
