The Graybar Storefront of The Siemon Companyunt Interconnect Center (SWIC2) is a fiber connection enclosure designed to manage and connect up to 48 fibers. The low-profile, compact design makes it suitable for telecommunications closets or other installation areas where wall space is a premium. The adapter mounting method is standardized via the utilization of the same snap-in adapter plates as used in the family of Rack Mount Quick-Pack Interconnect Centers (RICs).

  • Doors on enclosure and guard swing open full 180% to provide complete front and side access
  • Doors on enclosure and jumper guard can be ordered with independent key lock or latching options
  • Dual-level fiber managers incorporate two independent levels of storage to enable the fiber to be routed at levels that correspond with the adapters
  • Snap-in Adapter Plates utilizes same adapter plates as RIC enclosures with integrated latches for snap-in installation and one finger removal
  • Splice trays can be mounted to the base of the unit for splicing up to 48 fibers
  • A strain relief thumbscrew is included for securing cable kevlar strength members. Also, a strain relief lug is included for securing cable central member
  • Dust-proofing grommets are included
  • An integrated hinged fiber guard provides jumper protection and management
  • Convenient labeling system includes removable clear envelope for storing and protecting fiber documentation

Slide-in adapter plates (bezels) allow for easy installation and removal and are polarized to assure that adapter keyways are always facing up. BNC, F-type and RCA coaxial plates are available to be mounted at the bottom of the box in conjunction with, or in place of, the ST, SC, hybrid fiber plates to provide additional multimedia capability.
