StockerYale Announces The Availability Of Polarization Maintaining Fiber
StockerYale's polarization maintaining fiber has a high birefringence (hi-bi) to better maintain polarization, and low attenuation to provide greater flexibility in system designs requiring long coil lengths. Reduced outer cladding diameters improve coil turn density, and high core circularities allow for easier spliceability. In addition, the bow-tie stress structure design of the polarization fiber is ideal for high birefringence.
StockerYale's polarization maintaining fiber is available in operating wavelengths in the range of 850nm to 1550nm. Cladding diameters of 80 and 125 ìm and coating diameters of 165, 250 and 400 ìm are also available. StockerYale can also custom design polarization maintaining fiber that meets specific customer requirements.
