Today, OTN probably is the most powerful multiplexer for large, private environments with mixed communication needs, such as railways, metros, light rails,ITS, Power Plants, mines, airports, pipelines, and so on.

OTN is exactly what its name implies:

OPEN
It can handle nearly all existing physical interface standards, but also very specific communication protocols in special environments, via its interface cards.

The original OTN system offers a capacity of 36.5 Mbps (OTN-36). As user requirements change, so do Siemens Atea's products. Therefore the OTN family has been expanded with OC-3 (OTN-150),600 Mbps (OTN-600) and 2500 Mbps (OTN-2500) versions. Just pick the superhighway that suits you...
