Schott Glass Technologies Develops Substrate Glasses for DWDM Filters Schott Glass Technologies Inc. has developed a family of substrate glasses for DWDM filters. The thermal and environmental properties of the glasses have been optimized for coating operations and performance.

The company will introduce two glasses, S7003 and S7006, at OFC 2000, March 7-9 in Baltimore (Booth 1301). They are designed to offer DWDM filter manufacturers increased efficiency in their process, while offering increased performance to the ultimate customer. In addition, they are also available in sizes up to 300mm and above.
