RCN to Wire Quincy with Internet Access

The city of Quincy signed a deal with RCN Corp. that allows the company to build a local fiber optic network capable of providing the Boston-area community's 34,500 homes with high-speed Internet access, local phone, long distance, and cable television.

With approximately 160 homes per mile of network, Quincy has a density five times higher than the national average.
