Qwest Reaches Major Milestone In Fiber-Optic Internet Expansion

(NYSE: Q - News) announced today that it now offers its most advanced fiber-optic Internet1 services – with connection speeds of up to 20 Mbps – to more than 1 million potential customers in 18 markets. This marks a critical milestone in the company's fiber-optic expansion, and represents a significant leap in Qwest's corporate strategy to expand broadband speeds and capabilities to customers.

Qwest's growing fiber-optic network powers the company's advanced Internet services, Qwest Connect® Quantum and Qwest Connect® Titanium, delivering connection speeds of up to 20 Mbps and 12 Mbps, respectively.
