Quest Net Signs Contract With WorldCom For Direct ATM Access into the Internet Cloud at 45Mbps, Connection to

MIAMI (Feb. 17) BUSINESS WIRE -Feb. 17, 1999--Quest Net Corp (OTC BB:QNET) has completed a four-year contract with MCI WorldCom (Nasdaq:WCOM), a global telecommunications company with established operations in over 50 countries encompassing the Americas, Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions.

MCI WorldCom is a premier provider of facilities-based and fully integrated local, long distance, international and Internet services. MCI WorldCom's global networks, including its state-of-the-art pan-European network and transoceanic cable systems, provide end-to-end connectivity to over 35,000 buildings worldwide, for the installation of a DS-3 (45 Mbps) frame relay service. "The agreement makes Quest Net one of the largest bandwidth regional Internet Service Providers in the south east region. The Installation of this direct DS-3 (45Mbps) ATM connection to Dallas brings Quest Net one step closer to the completion of our nationwide ATM-based network," said Camilo Pereira, Chief Executive Officer of Quest Net.
