Pre-Polished Fiber Optic Connector

The Graybar Storefront of Panduithed version of the OPTI-JACK Fiber Optic Connector reduces installation time and associated expense by eliminating the polishing steps of the termination process.

The connector features adhesive cable retention, which is more effective than mechanical crimp designs. Insertion loss is typically less than 0.4 dB. At half the size of standard ST or SC connectors, the device doubles port density at the outlet and in the telecommunications closet. The connector is field terminable, using proven 2.5 mm ferrules and standard tools. A robust design protects fibers from mechanical and environmental stress.

The connector, with its familiar RJ-45 form factor, snaps into any MINI-COM outlet or modular patch panel. The connector jack mounts flush for a low profile installation. The device is fully compliant with TIA FOCIS-6 Fiber Jack Interface specifications.
