GN Nettest, Inc.2900 series of Optical Variable Attenuators incorporates a design which provides linearity across a range of wavelengths without the band structure inherent in devices that use optical filters.
Two operational modes are available in the DB-2900A and DB-2900C versions: dB mode shows the relative attenuation at each dial setting, dB + X mode allows user entry of total insertion loss, including patchcords for display of absolute attenuation.
