CSP's optical node cable was developed to connect the optical node (receiver) to the backbone fiber (transmitter) in a CATV Broadband environment
CSP's optical node cable was developed to connect the optical node (receiver) to the backbone fiber (transmitter) in a CATV Broadband environment.

Designed for rugged outdoor use, the optical node cable incorporates a standard 5/8" 24-thread fitting made from nickel-plated brass that encases an epoxy-filled plug. The plug and housing act as a strain relief to eliminate cable pistoning and provide a watertight connection to the optical node.

Once inserted into the node, maximum cable management can be obtained with a custom breakout length. Protective upjacketing is available in either 900 µm or 2 mm. Optical node cables are available with either dielectric or armored cable, in standard lengths of 50 and 100.
