Oncore Partners With Industry Veteran To Form Oncore Cables
Newport Beach, CA - Oncore Power Systems, a leading supplier of portable power sources for laptops, recently announced a partnership with cable industry veteran Brian Richardson and the formation of Oncore Cables. Oncore Cables offers fiber optic network cables and cable assemblies and will serve distributors across the country.
Richardson, who previously spent nearly ten years with a cable manufacturer in Southern California, joins Oncore Cables as senior vice president of sales. Joining Richardson is another 10-year industry veteran, Julie Fernandez who has also built a solid reputation and large customer following during her years in the cable industry. They will be responsible for building Oncore's customer base and all product sales.
"Joining forces with Oncore will be a great opportunity not only for me but for the customers I've worked with these past ten years," Brian Richardson said.
"Brian Richardson's extensive experience will give our cable sales efforts tremendous momentum. His reputation for customer service combined with Oncore Cables's quality products gives our new company a competitive edge. We're excited to partner with Brian," said Mark Rapparport, president of Oncore Power Systems and also president of Oncore Cables.
Rapparport founded Oncore Power Systems to bring quality mobile power products, replacement batteries and other products to mobile computer users. Previously, he founded and ran Xtend Micro Products, the company that introduced the first laptop adaptor for airline in-seat power systems, which allowed mobile users to remain powered up during a flight.
Oncore Cables' products include stock and custom lengths of fiber cables, Cat5e and Cat6 patch cables, Audio/Video cables, 25-pair Telco assemblies and more. Oncore's fiber optic network cables are individually tested and carry a lifetime guarantee. The cables are also available in custom lengths, colors, environmental specifications, and various multi-fiber cable configurations and combinations according to customer needs.
