OC-192 Modulator

A new compact 10 Gb/s, LiNbO₃ modulator that fits into a 3-inch package has been announced. This LiNbO₃ modulator has very low insertion loss and high sensitivity at a low cost. It provides chirp-free operation with exceptional performance. The modulator works in the 1550nm wavelength and can also be designed for 1300nm or L-Band. The modulator features low RF drive voltage, high extinction ratio, and optional external termination. It is ideal for DWDM applications and fiber optic sensors. The company manufactures both digital and analog modulators and offers custom-designed devices to meet specific needs of clients in the telecommunications and CATV industries.
