The FPM-8210 Fiber Optic Power Meter measures optical power from bare fiber or connectors through the same input port for reliable comparison. Virtually insensitive to polarization state or to pattern changes from fiber orientation, the device delivers repeatable high resolution results.

Engineered for the production test workstation, the fiber optic head design changes the task of reliably positioning a fiber endface from tedious to routine, whether or not the fiber has a connector. The device can be used to drive down your component PDL specs while driving up test throughput.

Key Features
• ±0.001 dB polarization dependent response with bare fiber
• 90 dB dynamic measurement range from 850 -1650 nm
• Bare fiber and connector measurements through the same input port for consistent, repeatable test results
• Connector adapters available for most common fiber optic connectors
• Large measurement head designed for the production bench
