The films are extremely stable, adherent, and humidity resistant, according to the company. ECI #806 is a front or back surface gold mirror that offers excellent reflectance from 800 nanometers to the infrared, says the company. This coating can be deposited directly onto plastic or glass fiber ends at ambient temperature. ECI #640HDP is an all-dielectric multilayer coating that can provide reflection greater than 99.9% at the desired spectral range. Designs are available for use on various index media, angles of incidence, and polarization requirements.
