Micro-Feed for Slow, Controlled Fiber Polishing

Krell’s micro-feed feature can be found in the Scepter and Rev² fiber optic polishing systems. This automated feature advances the bare fiber in a very slow, very controlled manner, thus minimizing the polishing film’s chance of breaking or damaging the bare fiber. This feature also allows for air polishing through a controlled mechanism instead of the traditional manual way, greatly increasing the potential for end-face quality.
