JDS Uniphase Shuffles OCLI Executives

JDS Uniphasee, Optical Coating Laboratory Inc. (OCLI; Santa Rosa, CA) president and CEO, has been appointed to the position of senior operating officer for <%=company%> (JDSU; Nepean, ON). In his new role, Abbe will have responsibility for all three of the existing JDSU business groups worldwide. In addition to his new role with JDSU, he will remain OCLI's CEO.

Joseph Zils has been appointed to the newly created position of president and COO of OCLI. In his new assignment, Zils will assume the day-to-day management responsibilities for OCLI. The current OCLI senior management team will report directly to Zils in his new position. In addition to his new role with OCLI, Zils will continue in the near term as acting President, for Flex Products Inc.

Craig Collins has been appointed as the new JDS Uniphase vice president, Corporate Finance and Strategic Planning. In this position, Collins will lead the company in developing financial strategies and structure to optimize the company's financial performance. Collins will be assuming significant responsibilities in our Investor Relations programs as well as becoming a leader in the development of our Information Technologies development plans.
