A family of high speed modulators for SONET/SDH and DWDM applications can operate at rates of up to 10 and 20 Gbit/s. Originally offered in patented dual-drive technology, X2600 lithium niobate modulators are now available in a single drive configuration at 10 Gbit/s, featuring an integrated optical attenuator for customized chirp adjustment at high bit-rates or during long-distance transmission.
