High Port Density Switches

The KS-616F and KS-624F are high port density switches with two fiber optic slots. They are designed to reduce network traffic congestion on traditional shared media networks and they offer a cost effective and flexible solution to many networking needs.

Features:
• Provide 16 or 24 10/100Mbps speed and full/half duplex auto-negotiation switched ports
• Fiber optic modules are available in a variety of media types, including multimode duplex ST, SC, MT-RJ, and VF-45; and single mode duplex SC and MT-RJ.
• Provide one additional RJ45 jack for easy TP uplink connection
• Store-and-forward architecture with non-blocking switching fabric
• Wire speed filtering and forwarding rate
• Support full-duplex flow control (IEEE 802.3x)
• Backpressure flow control in half-duplex mode
• Support a variety of pre-set trunking configurations selectable via DIPswitches to provide aggregate bandwidth up to 800Mbps for connections between KS-616F/624F switches
• Support full diagnostic LED indicators to display each TP port, fiber port and power status
• 19" rack mountable
