Handheld OC-48 Test Set

The new handheld OC-48 optical network analyzer is a member of the SunSet OCx product family. In addition to the convenience and freedom of its handheld platform, the product family goes beyond transmission analysis to provide powerful service verification tools. These advanced features allow field technicians to verify their networks for both transmission and service quality.

At the 2.5 Gbs data rate, the analyzer joins the product family to offer service providers and equipment manufacturers unparalleled versatility and test choices from DS0 to OC-48c. The new technology incorporated into the family brings handheld convenience to the threshold of the network core. The handheld OCx includes a broad range of SONET/BERT transmission analysis and service verification capabilities that are found in no other single piece of equipment, regardless of size. A color screen and logical operator interface structure mean that it is easy to use and requires a minimum of training to begin utilizing its features.
