Glimmerglass And Terilogy Announce Japanese Partnership And $1 Million Investment

Hayward, CA - Glimmerglass, a provider of Intelligent Optical Switches, announced that it has partnered with Terilogy provider of service assurance software solutions, to market and distribute Glimmerglass intelligent optical switches to telecommunications and networking customers in Japan. Terilogy also invested $1 million in Glimmerglass to support the expansion of the company's business worldwide.

This partnership expands Glimmerglass' reach into the Japanese market, building on two consecutive investments made by NTT Leasing within the past six months. Glimmerglass provides a family of Intelligent Optical Switches that deliver non-blocking connections between optical fibers in a wide range of port sizes. Commercial networks, suppliers of communications products and government agencies rely on Glimmerglass' solutions to provision, protect, test and monitor optical fibers in a variety of applications.
