The Gigabit switch series are especially designed to cope with the growing demand for high bandwidth within the workgroup or backbone applications. They provide dedicated bandwidth on each port and accelerate data transmission and segments the network effectively. The series offer flow control function without blocking or head-of-line-blocking problem.

HXR1008SC & HXR1008ST contain 8 100Base-FX ports and 1 SC Gigabit port. Each port can be set at full- or half-duplex mode independently by DIP switches at the front panel, while the Gigabit port is set at full-duplex mode at all time. HSR1008TX includes 8 10/100Base-TX ports and 1 SC Gigabit port. The multi-mode Gigabit port provides wavelength of 850nm for distance up to 500 meters.
