The Gain Flattening Filter uses proprietary deposition processes to tightly match amplifier gain curves while achieving low excess loss over a wide wavelength range. The component is housed in a compact, environmentally stable package that offers superior resistance to humidity and temperature and is suitable for mounting within an amplifier module. The filters are used in optical amplifiers for multiwavelength systems. Typical applications include post amplifiers, in-line amplifiers, and bidirectional amplifiers for dense WDM systems. The company can respond to custom requirements with short lead times.
