Ideal for LAN applications requiring maximum flexibility and conservation of wall space, the LX-1048-PD accommodates 48 fibers within a compact, low-profile enclosure, measuring only 17 ¼ in. wide x 14 in. high x 7 in. deep. This rugged 16 AWG steel wall unit holds up to 8 modular adapter panels, housing any industry standard adapter type.

Supporting either direct termination or splicing applications, the LX-1048-PD is equipped with cable management modules and routing accessories to limit bend radius, add strain relief control and maximize flexibility of cable entry. For splicing applications, the cable management modules can be replaced with splice tray holders and up to four 12-fiber splice trays.

The LX-1048-PD features optional dual locks and a wrap-around client side door. This provides a secure separation between owner and client network segments, as well as, easy access to adapters for client side patching. The unit's recessed, tear-drop mounting pattern also facilitates easy installation and placement. Multiple cable access points and multi-sized cable entry knockouts add to the product's versatility.
