FM Video, Data and Audio Fiber Optic Systems

N/A is a Series of FM Video, Data and Audio Fiber Optic Systems. This system uses state-of-the-art Frequency Modulation (FM) techniques for superior video performance. The specifications exceed RS-250C Medium-haul specification over the entire optical budget for both multimode and singlemode optics. The video Signal-to-Noise ratio is up to 70 dB and a 10 MHz bandwidth. The Differential Gain and Differential Phase are less than 1% and 1º, respectively. The video quality is achieved using technology developed for the company's broadcast fiber optic product line that exceeds RS-250C Short-haul specifications.

N/A Series supports up to 6 Full Duplex data channels for RS-232C,
RS-422 and CMOS at up to 38.4 KBits. For Camera Remote Control, the system
supports most protocols including Vicon, Pelco, Burle and American Dynamics.
Up to TWO Audio channels with up to a 10KHz bandwidth are available for
intercom and PA applications. The system supports Remote Sensing of Laser
Power, Video Presence and Data Parity over the optical fiber through a
dedicated data channel.

The power supply input voltage requirements for N/A are 9 - 12 VAC with a wall-mount power supply or transformer. Systems are available in portable, wall-mount and triple rack-mount configurations with 850 nm and 1300 nm LED Multimode and 1300 nm Laser Single-mode optics. The optical budget is up to 28 dB using a 1300nm Singlemode Laser. Applications include security, surveillance, distance learning, teleconferencing, medical, industrial, broadcast and cable television, identification systems and intelligent transportation systems.
