Fiber Service Platform

ADVA Optical Networkingber Service Platform-I (FSP-I) is a platform enabling carriers to provision fiber-based data services to enterprises. Carriers with existing dark fiber installations can establish a migration path for additional enterprise services over the same fiber infrastructure.

The platform enables carriers to offer enterprises a variety of high-speed point-to-point and point-to-multipoint native LAN services. Carriers can deliver Enterprise System Connectivity (ESCON) services with a migration path to Fiber Connection (FICON) or Fibre Channel, as well as Fast Ethernet connectivity with a migration path to Gigabit Ethernet. The platform has a broad data range (10 Mbps to 1.25 Gbps) and service-provisioning features. The product features a modular design for flexibility, a plug-and-play installation capability, consolidated management and provisioning and seamless compatibility across the 10 Mbps-to-1.25 Gbps application range.
