Electro Rent selects NetTest to support outside plant fiber optic testing
Electro Rent will also use NetTest's FD440 Chromatic Dispersion Measurement System, the industry's only field-portable system that measures chromatic dispersion in both C and L bands wherever and whenever it is needed, to help customers plan, build and upgrade fiber optic networks.

NetTest's FD440 Chronomatic Dispersion Measurement System offers the only lightweight, field-portable system that tests both the C and L bands for chromatic dispersion in the field, the network control center or wherever necessary. This easy-to-use system features separate transmit and receive units, allowing users to efficiently map and upgrade an optical network. Its familiar Windows 98®-based software operates with a single press of a button and is easily customized for a variety of test parameters.
The CMA4000 offers all the features of a mainframe OTDR in a rugged, field portable unit. It has incredible deadzone and dynamic range performance, and is fully configurable. With its intelligent software and multi-tasking ability, the CMA4000 can test, analyze, and display data faster than any other OTDR available. The CMA 4000 OTDR is available in a single mode module and tri-wavelength modules.
