Simplified Infrastructure
The Dynarc 50/56 integrates the guaranteed quality of service (QoS), the resiliency and self-healing capabilities of SONET/SDH rings, and the bandwidth efficiency and service-rich capabilities of IP.
It arms service providers with:
the ability to retain their installed customer base while offering a smooth migration to IP-based services with strict QoS
- the ability to maintain and grow revenue opportunities
- a simplified infrastructure that cost-effectively reduces the amount of network equipment and managed network layers
Multi-Services On Demand
The advanced features of the Dynarc 50/56 are leveraged by Dynarc's Channelized Reserved Services (CRS) architecture. CRS integrates IP networking with a channelized link technology. The result is a unique network solution featuring on-the-fly channelization of bandwidth, which enables it to adapt automatically to new IP services and new requirements from end users. With Dynarc, service providers can build the first multi-service optical networks that reserve and provision IP services, enabling them to retain and attract new customers.
The Dynarc 50/56 supports voice, data, and multimedia services in any combination. The router contains six slots, five of which are reserved for port adapter cards, including DTM, DVB, Ethernet and Fast Ethernet, E1/T1, and DS-3.
