Dr. Vincent J. Tekippe to Chair Corporate Fiber Optics Development Board

Gould Fiber Opticskippe has been named Corporate Vice President of Strategic and Technical Development for Fiber Optics. In this role he will chair a Fiber Optics Development Board, which will concentrate on developing a long-term technology/product strategy for the business, as well as establishing product development priorities, potential acquisitions, strategic partnerships, licensing and distribution agreements. These efforts underscore the Gould Electronics plan to invest in the growth of the Fiber Optics Division. Dr. Tekippe joined Gould in 1979 as a Staff Scientist at the Electrical and Electronic Research Laboratory in Chicago. The early research work at the laboratory led to the formation of the Fiber Optics Division. Dr. Tekippe has led the <%=company%> efforts since 1983 and served as the President and General Manager of the Fiber Optics Division since its founding in 1985.
