Diversified Communications Selects ADC to Provide Analog and Digital Television Transmitter Systems

ADC, a leading global supplier of fiber optics, network equipment, software and integration services for broadband, multiservice networks, today announced that is has been selected to supply group television station owner Diversified Communications with analog and digital television (DTV) transmitter systems with immediate orders of nearly $2 million.

Under the terms of the agreement, ADC will provide Diversified Communications with transmitter systems for its full service television stations located throughout the East Coast. The current orders include two Visionary(TM) Series and two Visionary(TM) DT Series units with output powers ranging from 17kW average digital to 80kW analog.
Confidence in ADC's advanced product designs, and past experience with the company, helped Diversified with its decision to select ADC for its new transmitters.
