Ditech Recruits Former Cisco Optical Internetworking Executive for Engineering Vice President Post

Cisco Systems Inc.has joined Ditech Communications Corp. (Mountain View, CA) as senior vice president of Engineering for Optical Networking Products. Wright joins Ditech from <%=company%>, where he served as director of Cisco's optical internetworking business unit. Wright will report directly to Tim Montgomery, Ditech president and CEO.

In his role at Cisco, he led the engineering team building Cisco's advanced switch/router products. Before Cisco, Wright served as the senior director of Engineering for Network Equipment Technologies (N.E.T.; Fremont, CA) from 1993 to 1998, where he headed the engineering team building N.E.T.'s high-end ATM wide-area networking switch. Prior to N.E.T, Wright worked as an engineer and engineering manager for several communications companies in Australia.
