SDTV Plus is a multi-protocol interactive fiberoptic distribution platform that distributes bundled entertainment and high speed data services, including DBS, CATV, off-air and two-way interactive Internet, over a single deep fiber infrastructure. The platform joins the market leading SDTV as the system of choice for distributing convergence services in multi-dwelling units (MDUs) and garden style apartments (GSAs), according to the company. The fiberoptic transmitter distributes bundled high speed data and video entertainment content to receiver nodes throughout an apartment building or garden style property. Apartments are connected to receiver nodes via a coaxial cable, which also carries the return path Internet services.
