Digital Video and Audio Routing Switcher

N/A0 10 by 1 Serial Digital Video and AES/EBU Audio Routing Switcher supports vertical interval switching of 1 video and up to 2 AES/EBU audio channels on a 10 by 1 matrix. The unit includes 1 video and 2 audio break-aways, 350 meter cable equalized video inputs and 2 re-clocked video outputs.

The unit supports 75 Ohm single-ended and 110 Ohm balanced AES/EBU audio. The unit supports 143, 177, 270, 360 and 540 Mbit/sec SMPTE 259M Serial Digital Video and complies with SMPTE RP 168 Vertical Interval Switching.

Remote Control Panels that operate at distances of up to 3000 feet over a standard audio cable without an external power source, are optionally available. Power is supplied to the remote panels through the control cable. The switcher also supports RS-232 remote control through a modem or dumb terminal.

Several Switchers can be used together to form a 10 by N and a N by 1 matrix for larger applications where more inputs or outputs are required. The 10X3 Adapter Panel with XLR connectors is optionally available to bridge the audio inputs of 3 or more DAS-1000 switchers for a 10 by 3+ matrix.
