ClearSpectrum™-DCM Dispersion Compensation Module

The ClearSpectrum-DCM is a multi-channel chromatic dispersion compensation module for metro core, regional, and long haul DWDM systems. The ClearSpectrum-DCM is an attractive alternative to dispersion compensation fiber (DCF) in cost-sensitive metro networks since its small footprint minimizes space and its low insertion loss reduces amplification requirements. In long haul networks the ClearSpectrum-DCM can be deployed to correct for dispersion in line or at the terminal.
