BURLE Announces CEM 4899 Replacement Electron Multiplier

Sturbridge, MA — BURLE Electro-Optics, Inc., a PHOTONIS Group company, has announced the release of its Low-Cost CEM 4899 Replacement Electron Multiplier for Sciex API-2000 and API-3200 Mass Spectrometers. This detector is a direct replacement in the OEM instruments, and is installed without changes to the hardware or software, which results in a seamless upgrade.

According to the company, the product utilizes easy replacement cartridge technology, which reduces future costs, simplifies and speeds up replacements by service personnel and end-users. The 4899 multiplier features no alignment ion optics and utilizes a 5903 Extended Dynamic Range™ MAGNUM® to meet the high dynamic range requirements. The MAGNUM cartridge can be purchased separately.
