Broadband Light Sources

The C-Band and L-Band amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) sources are suitable for applications such as fiber optic gyros, fiber sensor systems, CDMA systems, and optical system calibration. The C-Band ASE source provides high spectral power density, broadband light across a band of 1525 nm to 1562 nm, while the L-Band source covers the 1570 nm to 1607 nm band.
