AWR's Analog Office High-Frequency Design Suite Selected By Finisar

Corporate agreement strengthens Finisar's commitment to AWR EDA technology

El Segundo, CA -- Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (AWR) today announced a corporate agreement with Finisar Corporation for Finisar to purchase AWR's Analog Office 2004 design suite. Finisar's optics division will utilize the Analog Office software for the design of its industry-leading high-speed optical transceivers.

Finisar is a technology leader for fiber optic subsystems and network test and monitoring systems. The company's products enable high-speed data communications for networking and storage applications over gigabit Ethernet LANs, fiber channel SANs, and metropolitan area networks (MANs) using fiber channel, IP, and SONET/SDH protocols.
