Kymata's Arrayed Waveguide Grating (AWG) is a wavelength multiplexer/demultiplexer designed for use in DWDM systems. Manufactured using proven, versatile and industry accepted silica-on-silicon technology, these planar lightwave circuits are available with a range of channel spacings separation and channel count options in chip, package or module form. Backed up by high volume production capability these compact products are designed to meet Telcordia (formerly Bellcore) 1209 & 1221 requirements providing an excellent solution for system designers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
