The ANSR SONET multiplexer is designed to provide economical SONET/SDH transport and ring capabilities up to OC-12(STM4). AFC's ANSR fortifies the UMIC 1000 product economical SONET/SDH transport and ring capabilities up to OC-12(STM4). The ANSR fortifies the UMC 1000 product line by providing fiber ring protection and broadband service extensions such as DS3(E3), STS-1, OC3c(STM1c), and Ethernet (10/100 Base-T). The new ANSR product positions the UMC 1000 to deliver integrated xDSL and Frame Relay/ATM data services across SONET/ SDH transport networks. The ANSR product also enhances overall network management for UMC 1000 customers.
