AFOP's Connectivity And Passive Devices Complete Third Party ITL Qualification
Sunnyvale, CA - Alliance Fiber Optic Products, Inc., an innovative supplier of fiber optic components, subsystems and integrated modules for the optical network equipment market, recently announced that AFOP's SC/UPC, LC/UPC and LC/APC Pigtails successfully completed Independent Test Laboratory qualification to the rigorous GR- 326 requirements. In addition, AFOP Filter WDM modules successfully completed GR 1209 and GR 1221 qualification recently. These add to the SC/APC pigtail GR-326 qualification already completed last year.
"Our FOC (Fiber Optic Component) qualification efforts have resulted in many opportunities related to the FIOS network deployed by Verizon. We believe the investment in third party qualifications of our Connectivity and Passive products is a sound investment for AFOPs' future. As additional carriers or CATV/ Broadband players look to engage in FTTX deployments, AFOP will be well positioned to gain increasing market share." said Peter Chang, President and CEO of AFOP.
