50 GHz Amplified Photoreceiver

Discovery Semiconductors, Inc.4 brings 60 V/W conversion gain of up to 50 GHz to the circuit board in a ceramic package. Available with either a type V 1.85 mm RF coaxial output connector or without a connector for direct wirebonding to a stripline on the board. The package is 10 mm wide x 9 mm high with the fiber pigtail mounted on the top. This takes little board space, yet provides suitable microwave-transmission characteristics.
