Optical Wavelength Laboratories (formerly Computer Networks Incorporated) designs and manufactures optical fiber test and communications equipment. We began our 10 year history with networking, telecommunications, and computing products and services in 1991. This business rapidly grew to millions of dollars annually. This history also includes the manufacture of optical transceivers for the medical and scientific industry.

Our engineering department brings the high standards of quality and attention to detail required by the medical industry to the science of designing optical fiber test equipment.

Currently, we are unveiling the end result of a two-and-a-half year research and development project. This design process has allowed us to offer the optical industry a complete line of highly accurate, economical, and user-friendly optical fiber test and measurement equipment.

Also as a part of this design process, we utilize an internal advisory board consisting of several on-staff Registered Communications Distribution Designers (R.C.D.D.s). This staff helps guide our test equipment designers to produce user-friendly and standards-based products that relate to the needs of modern optical fiber technicians and engineers.

We have also developed a series of optical fiber training courses for the optical fiber technician. These courses take optical fiber students through the phases of an optical fiber network: theory, design, installation, testing, certification, and troubleshooting.
