MESON Fiber Optics is an optical products manufacturer specializing in test equipment and network monitoring/connectivity products such as the FibreGuard system. The modular FibreGuard system has cards available for proactive switching, active and dark fiber monitoring, as well as modules for fiber conversion, extending link length, and WDM / DWDM.

Nestled on a six acre site in Northeastern Pennsylvania's Endless Mountains, MESON's high tech manufacturing facility is surprisingly at home in its restored 1920's train station. MESON Design and Development was incorporated in nearby Binghamtom NY in 1987 before moving to Pennsylvania in 1996. MESON's early focus was on the design and development of fiber optic test equipment, marketing a line under the MESON name, as well as under OEM agreement with Hewlett Packard and others. In the early 90's, MESON began to expand its product line into network management and connectivity. Our products are now marketed globally through a network of distibutors, agents, and reps.
