Luxcore Networks, Inc. (Luxcore) a privately held start-up and optical internetworking systems manufacturer based in Atlanta, Georgia was incorporated as Synchordia Networks in July of 1999. Luxcore designs, develops and markets optical internetworking systems that direct voice, data and video traffic across fiber-optic networks. In a network of Luxcore systems, processing of traffic is performed entirely in the optical domain without the need for electrical regeneration as is required to route and switch optical signals in present day networks. Luxcore is defining and delivering optical internetworking systems based on new photonic routing and switching technologies.
