Microfabrication techniques used by Blu-Si are standard within the I.C. industry. Using these processes, we are able to design and fabricate custom MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) devices. MEMS is the fabrication of mechanical sensing devices and structures on a micro-scale. Our capabilities include both wet and dry etch processing, microlithography, thin film deposition and deep RIE. Additionally, we provide technical expertise in chemical and electrochemical engineering with special interest in fluid dynamics simulation. Other services includes device design, CAD and photo-mask generation.

Low volume, low cost production, prototyping and pilot runs are some services which are provided by Blu-Si. The ideal clients are those looking to develop new microdevice or looking to re-design current product into a smaller package and those having low to medium production volume requirements. Two specific areas of expertise are Fiber Optics and BioMedical. However, we have a broad range of experience in other areas of micro-machining.
