Datasheet: VF-20 Trio Interferometer
The VF-20 Trio is an interferometer designed to produce high quality images of the ends of optical fibers to enable you to estimate their quality and flatness. It produces high quality images with good fringe contrast. It also has two operational modes – Inspect and Fringe – therefore separate inspection equipment is not required, saving time as end face quality and flatness can be checked in one go. Three selectable magnification settings giving 1mm, 500um and 150um Field of View allow users to view a wide range of fiber sizes. Angled fibers as well as flat ones can be measured. The analogue and digital outputs mean it can be used with a video monitor or computer. It is also suitable for use with Vytran and other splicer holders. There is a convenient software package available which can acquire, save and print images.
